To-Do Lists

One of the greatest pleasures in life (I think) is putting pen to paper and crossing out something you have completed.

These past couple of months I’ve been able to do that with some long-term stuff, some short-term stuff, some fun stuff, and some adult-y stuff. I’m feeling extra thankful this week for all our blessings so I wanted to share some stuff I’ve been able to cross off on my list 🙂

One of the big things was selling the house! Still very grateful and happy to have that process complete.

Buying Halloween candy after Halloween on sale is #adulting. Keeping this large bag of candy in a house with 2 people is #peterpanning.

….Getting more candy was not on the to-do list, but when there’s a See’s what’s a girl to do?

It was time for me to renew a certification so I knocked that out over the course of a few days. I was especially happy that I was able to complete it during a weekend where B had work events all weekend instead of having to do it during a weekend we were off together.

Going to Corner Bakery for breakfast had been on our list…going twice in one weekend? not so much.

Speaking of restaurants-going to Pita Street was on my list since I saw it and was super excited to check out the food. It was so so good!

I was super happy to be able to complete a student loan thing. I had talked to them on the phone to verify completion, but getting the letter and having the paper in my hand was a really big check off on the to-do list.

Is there any big or small things you guys have crossed off that meant a lot? Let me know in the comments below!

Breathing Easy

Hi Friends!

I am so happy to be able to tell you that we can check off one goal I had! I passed my test and I am so relieved and happy 🙂 I will be back to my regularly scheduled posts next week and I am really excited to get back into full swing.

The hubs and I took some time to enjoy just breathing easy and each other’s company. Besides passing the test this past week was special since March 29th marked our 2 year anniversary! I can’t believe it’s been two gorgeous years since I married this amazing human that I get to call my husband.

I love being married, but that’s because I married my best friend. He is the most supportive, caring, generous human I know. He goes above and beyond to make my life easier. I mean, this guy woke up after only 3 hours of sleep to take me to my test because he knew how stressed I had been about it. I could go on and on, but then we’d have a book on how amazing my husband is 😉

Babe, if you’re reading this just know I think you’re awesome sauce. Thank you for all you do for us. I love you!

Updates and such

I hope you lovelies are having a wonderful start to the week! I thought I would give you a little update on #goals 🙂

Eating more color: Pretty great if I do say so myself! It’s been fun change up to add some different veggies into the mix instead of just always reaching for raw spinach. I’ve been really loving crisping up kale stovetop and baby carrots and bell pep are always a win 😉

Studying: Finished reading the textbook…can’t tell you how glad I am to be done reading that thing, but now onto more practice questions and power point stuff (much more interesting)!

Running: Not gonna lie…not happening very much. We have been doing more hiking on our days off and yoga and walking on busier days, but running hasn’t been in the mix. We’ve also been able to try out zip lining and rock climbing which were awesome, but again not in the running realm…I’m not too upset about it to be honest. It’ll happen eventually!

How are your resolutions/goals going?? Leave me a comment down below!

#goals

I know that January 1st has long come and gone, but honestly I don’t think it’s gotta be the beginning of the year to make you a better you! In that spirit I wanted to share some of my goals with you guys 🙂

Let’s start full speed ahead with running-y’ll I wanna get into running. I never thought I would be saying those words, but it just sounds like a fun new challenge. I feel a little too comfortable with my workouts and so I wanted to spice things up. If you guys are runners feel free to leave me any tips/suggestions/advice you may have 🙂

I love food and I’m really great at eating all those leafy dark greens, but I suck terribly at getting in too many other colors of the rainbow. Because of that I am going to really work at getting more color onto my plate and into my belly!

A nice short term goal I have is to pass this exam I have to take by the end of March/beginning of April. It’s been stressing me just a tad (HA! if tad meant a lot)! So until I wrap up this test I will be cutting down posting to once or twice a week. Please don’t hate me!

Any who that about wraps it up! Let me know if you are working on any goals in the comments below 🙂 till next time!
