This visit was totally inspired by one of my favorite blogs to read, The Static Food Bin. In this particular post Cecilia talked about her visit to Smorgasburg Market. Smorgasburg Market is home to some really great food vendors in DTLA.
Reading her post inspired us to head out on one chilly, rainy Sunday. I may have been drenched in rain and slightly freezing, but I can say the food was definitely worth it.
We shared a shredded beef quesadilla from Burritos La Palma. Seriously. Best quesadilla of life.
A margherita from URBN Pizza. Light, airy, saucy, cheesy.
And an ube flavored Filipino brioche bun from The Ensaymada Project. Slightly sweet, warm, and tender.
No matter the weather we have plans to return to Smorgasburg Market. And friends? I cannot wait.
