I know I’m a few days late, but I really wanted to share with you guys what we ate on turkey day. This was our first Thanksgiving without our families and we were bummed, but still wanted to make it fun and special!
Here is where I will try to stop blabbering on and we can get to the good stuff…the food!
Pre-breakfast snack: cuties because #health
Breakfast: Everything bagels, Greek cream cheese. Poms. Blackberries. Blueberries.
Breakfast #2/Snack (because breakfast one was too early): Trader Joe’s pumpkin waffles with maple syrup
Snack (#2?): Pringles. I have no idea why, but it sounded good and had been so long since I’ve had them also #balance.
Since we munched all day we kinda just accidentally ended up skipping lunch and having an early dinner…
Instead of turkey and yams we opted for burgers and sweet potato fries. B makes the best burgers and these were SO. FREAKING. GOOD.
Dessert: Keeping up with the traditional theme (haha) we had a tres leches cake. Noms!
I think we did pretty well for our first Thanksgiving as a married couple 🙂 I hope your Thanksgiving was filled with delicious food and loved ones!
